Best's professional learning curriculum is designed by board members for board members, and it includes specific state modules for enhanced learning.

The Board Mastery program offered since 2020 has been instrumental in driving school board reform. It provides comprehensive leadership development to board members, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions, engage with stakeholders, and drive positive student outcomes. 

The program consists of online modules, interactive workshops, and real-world case studies, covering key areas such as governance principles, financial management, strategic planning, board-community relations, and policy development. By completing the Board Mastery program, school board members will be well-prepared to govern their districts effectively, promote student success, and ensure the efficient use of resources for the benefit of all students.

In 2022 and 2023, there have been significant advancements in providing school choice opportunities for families who wish to explore alternatives to public schools in states like Arizona, Florida, and West Virginia.

Unfortunately, many families remain unaware of these options due to a lack of information. Public schools may hesitate to share this knowledge, worried about losing students and the funding that comes with them. We understand how frustrating it can be for families seeking the best for their children yet feeling left in the dark.

To help bridge this gap, we have launched a national campaign dedicated to informing and educating families about the various alternatives available. Every family deserves access to the information necessary to make empowered decisions about their children’s education.

Microschools have emerged as a solution to address the needs of families on private school waitlists or seeking affordable alternatives to public schools. With the increase in state funding for Education Savings Account (ESA) programs in states like Arizona, Florida, and West Virginia, there are more robust educational choices. However, choice can only be practical if it is readily available.

That's where we come in.
