Established in 2020
Best in Ed, a former project of FreedomWorks, is dedicated to pioneering post-Covid education advocacy and leadership with a distinctive approach that emphasizes excellence and sustainability. Our organization stands out due to the expertise of our dedicated volunteers and staff, who bring extensive experience in education leadership and advocacy. At the core of our mission is the goal to ensure continuity and effectiveness in school board and educational reform efforts across America. We have developed a proven blueprint that cultivates capable leaders, equipping them to drive lasting change in their communities. By setting high standards in grassroots advocacy and fostering a leadership culture focused on achieving superior educational outcomes, Best in Ed is poised to bridge critical gaps in educational leadership.
Since our establishment in 2020, Best has achieved significant milestones, empowering 165 parents and community leaders to secure school board seats and facilitating the creation of the first comprehensive school board leadership curriculum based on conservative principles that will be the foundation for hundreds of board members across the nation in 2024.
Our impact extends to policy advancements such as Educational Savings Accounts in key states and mentoring local leaders in effective grassroots strategies. The landscape of American education, with its vast network of stakeholders and diverse needs, underscores the necessity of our work. Best in Ed actively engages parents, teachers, school boards, and community members, offering them a -P.L.A.C.E.—to become influential leaders.
